The invention relates to a production method for long stapled cotton/yakwool blended yarns. Yarns comprise 55%-75% long stapled cotton fibers and 25%-45% yakwool fibers. The method comprises: in production, firstly, through first opening picking, first cotton carding, and first combing of a cotton spinning process, long stapled cotton being manufactured into long stapled cotton combing silver; through wool oiling, carding, two front gillings, second combing, and two rear gillings of a wool textile process, the yakwool fibers being manufactured into yakwool silver; finally, taking the long stapled cotton combing silver and the yakwool silver, returning to opening picking process, mixing the long stapled cotton combing silver and the yakwool silver in a single fiber manner, using second opening picking, second cotton carding, third combing, three drawings, a roving frame and a spinning frame of a cotton spinning process to obtain long stapled cotton/yakwool blended yarns. In the method, cotton and wool fibers are manufactured into silvers and then the silvers are mixed, ensuring mixing uniformity of the two raw materials. Aimed at different colors of the two kinds of fibers, the manufactured yarns have colored spun yarn styles, and can satisfy market requirement.
